Gameday 30: Pirates head to Oakland for three games against the Athletics
After losing two of three against the Giants, the Pirates head to Oakland for a set against the Athletics
Jared Jones allowed a pair of home runs and three runs overall over five innings pitched, only striking out three en route to getting the loss on Sunday.
The offense only managed two runs, both driven in by Jared Triolo, as the Pirates lost two of three against the San Francisco Giants.
They will head to Oakland to play the 12-17 Athletics for three games before returning home.
Bailey Falter will pitch for the Pirates. He is coming off his best start of the season, striking out eight in seven innings pitched and earning the win against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Monday and Tuesday games have an expected start of 9:40 pm ET, with the series finale a day game at 3:37 pm ET.
