Gameday 32: Quinn Priester on the mound as Pirates look to avoid sweep
After losing first two games, the Pirates look to avoid getting swept by the Athletics
Connor Joe got the Pirates on the board first with a solo home run, but the bats quickly fell silent. They finished with just two runs and five hits as they dropped their third straight as well as five of their last six.
Mitch Keller pitched five innings, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven. The Pirates now share an identical 14-17 record with the Athletics and are in last place in the NL Central.
In the series finale, the Pirates will send Quinn Priester - coming off his best start of his major league career - to the mound to face Ross Stripling, with an expected game time of 3:37 pm ET.

A catcher that shouldn't be catching, and a shortstop that shouldn't be a shortstop. Working out great.
Bradenton getting no-hit thru 7. Obviously a bunch of these guys are angling for promotions to Pgh.
