Gameday 45: Pirates begin weekend series on the road against the Phillies

After three games in New York facing the Mets, the Pirates will head to the east side of Pennsylvania for a weekend series against the Phillies.
The Pirates were able to sneak in a 4-0 victory against the Mets, with Matt Gorski and Jared Triolo hitting two-run home runs, and Chase Shugart picked up his second win.
Now 44 games into the season, the Pirates sit in last place in the NL Central with a 15-29 record. Pittsburgh is 5.5 games behind the Cincinnati Reds for fourth place in the division.
The Phillies are 25-18, second in the NL East, and hold the second Wild Card spot.
Andrew Heaney, Carmen Mlodzinski, and Paul Skenes are the projected starters for this weekend.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:45 pm ET.
