Gameday 47: Pirates look to gurantee series win with Saturday win
Bailey Falter set to pitch for the Pirates
The Pittsburgh Pirates sent their prized young pitchers to the mound in the first two games of their road series against the Chicago Cubs and won both times.
Now, they will look to Bailey Falter to guarantee them a series win against their divisional foe.
Paul Skenes pitched six no-hit innings on Friday, striking out 11 in getting his first major league victory.
The offense exploded for nine runs in support of the former number-one overall pick, with Jared Triolo and Andrew McCutchen going deep and Nick Gonzales hitting a double.
Opposing them will be Shota Imanaga, with his sub-one ERA and 5-0 record.
First pitch is expected at 2:20 pm ET.
