Gameday 6: Mitch Keller back on the mound as Pirates look for sixth straight
Pirates head back around the rotation for second time coming off their first off day.
Mitch Keller didn’t have his best of starts opening day, but he was able to eat up some innings and keep the game close enough until the Pirates could work their way back.
He will make his second start of the season on the road, this time against the Washington Nationals.
The Pirates have started 5-0 for the first time since 1983 and will look for their sixth straight win to begin the season. They defeated the Washington Nationals 8-4 on Monday before being off on Tuesday.
They will be opposed by a familiar face, taking on former Pirate Trevor Williams, who makes his season debut on Wednesday.
It will be the first right-handed starting pitcher they will face this season.
Game time is expected around 6:45 pm ET.

Yesterday’s Feature
We don’t quite have the rosters for the full season affiliates, just yet, I still took a stab at the guys I’m interesting in seeing that could make the jump to at the least, Single-A this year.
Today’s Feature
Dallas Baptist righty Ryan Johnson has one of the most unique deliveries that you will see, but that isn’t what makes him stand out among available pitchers available for the 2024 draft.
Delay to IL with right knee inflammation. Wonder whether he found out about the knee problem at the same time we did.
I'm sad. But we got another 69 of those on the way to our 92-70 season
