Gameday 71: Pirates look for series win on Father's Day
After splitting the first two, Sunday will decide Pirates/Rockies series
The Pittsburgh Pirates will look to clinch their series on the road against the Colorado Rockies. They will play a day game on Father’s Day before heading back to Pittsburgh.
Nick Gonzales picked up another couple of hits, including his fifth home run of the season. He also now has 25 RBI. Andrew McCutchen reached double-digit home runs on the year after hitting his 10th last night.
Jared Jones gave up six runs on six hits and four walks while striking out six in 4.2 innings pitched.
Former St. Louis Cardinal Dakota Hudson will pitch for the Rockies, with an expected first pitch of 3:10 pm ET.
