Gameday 78: Bailey Falter and the Pirates head to Cincinnati to face the Reds
Pirates looking to rebound after dropping two of three to the Rays over weekend
Despite having Jared Jones and Paul Skenes pitching this weekend, the Pirates still dropped two of three against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Skenes pitched seven innings of one-run ball, striking out eight, but didn’t factor into the decision. The offense went quiet, finishing with just two hits, two of which came from Bryan Reynolds.
Their attention shifts to the road and the Cincinnati Reds, who they faced last week at PNC Park.
The pitching matchups nearly line up again, as Mitch Keller and Hunter Greene will face each other on Tuesday.
Carson Spiers will start for the home team on Monday, facing Bailey Falter.

Yesterday’s Feature
Yordany De Los Santos is currently having a fantastic season in the FCL. As he keeps pushing for a promotion to Bradenton, I look at his season and other names to watch who may be in line to move up a level.
Today’s Feature
We saw our first bit of promotions this past week, most notably Charles McAdoo to Altoona. We have looks at him, Braxton Ashcraft, Antwone Kelly, and Javier Rivas, among others, in the latest 10 Observations feature.

Seeing the lineup, guess I need to figure out what outside yard project needs completed.
Shelton is probably trying everything he can to keep the bullpen game arms off the field.
