Gameday 90: Pirates look for series split against Mets
Mitch Keller gets the nod for the Pirates
The Pittsburgh Pirates have dropped two straight after winning the first of their four-game set against the New York Mets.
They now look to clinch a series split on Monday with Mitch Keller on the mound.
The loss on Sunday guarantees that the Pirates will finish with a losing record on their current seven-game homestand. A win today will make it a 3-4 record, while a loss makes it a lot less ideal 2-5 stretch.
Rookie Christian Scott will pitch for the Mets, who look to go over the .500 mark with a win today.
The first pitch is expected at 12:35 p.m. ET. After that, the Pirates will head to Milwaukee for a three-game series against the Brewers.
