Gameday 93: Paul Skenes on the mound with a chance to clinch road series for Pirates
Paul Skenes will make final start before All-Star appearance
Two games into the most recent series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers have provided little competition.
The Pirates won the first game 12-2, but the Brewers bounced back and won 9-0 on Wednesday.
They wrap up the series on Thursday with a day game. The Pirates will have Paul Skenes on the mound, who will make his last start before appearing in the All-Star game.
Aaron Civale will make his second appearance for the Brewers since being traded from the Tampa Bay Rays.
Bryan Reynolds has two home runs in 10 career at-bats against Civale. Rowdy Tellez has also hit a home run, with Nick Gonzales 2-2.
This will be the first time that Skenes has faced the Brewers. He’s 2-0 in four starts against teams from the NL Central.

I don't know how, as GM, you could watch this guy and not be determined to find out what he could do with a major league team behind him.
