With organization limits, teams scrambling to fill innings to close out the season
McMillan at least had me going "Hmm..." last night. Looked pretty dominating against a very good Bowling Green team. Had 12 whiffs in 3 IP
Think he has a chance to become a real prospect (aka a possible interesting reliever) or just organizational filler?
Possibly an interesting reliever. His fastball had nice life up in zone, 93 was the one velo I heard them mention. He will be 24 in February, so, I wouldn't put too much weight onto it just yet.
It always surprises me that most teams don't carry more pitchers like McMillian. I though Ortiz really in shined at that.
They do, but they’re mostly in the form of failed starters.
