Overview
Washington is a power/speed outfielder who’s already indicated that he’ll honor his commitment to LSU. He has a quick swing and gets good exit velocities, but the power is ahead of the contact ability. He can be vulnerable to breaking balls and may need to lift the ball more. His arm and speed are above average and it’s possible he could play center. Baseball America ranked him 120th in the draft class and MLB Pipeline 118th.
