Liam Doyle has had a great start to the year. He's had 25 strikeouts to 1 walk, only giving up 3 hits 1 run (1 HR) in his 2 starts (both wins). He faces Oklahoma St. friday, for his first real competition.
Just locating his fastball could have lead to his success in the first 2 starts. Oklahoma St. will be a much better indicator, 25 k's to 1 bb in around 10 innings is pretty impressive.
Beware of college hitters that only feast on weak opponents/Sunday starters..

They talked about him on BA after his first start. I think they said he was pretty much having success just with his heater.

Yep. Looking forward to catching him pitch. He's looked good so far.
There's a few good games this weekend, Arizona v Texas a&m is one I'm hoping to watch.
