Maybe not a first rounder, but this kid has some skills, pitches for the present National Champion, Tennessee, throws from the Left Side, and is a lock for the All-Irish Team - Liam Shannon Doyle and if that's not enough, his Mother's name is Kathleen. He's from NH but pitched for Coastal Carolina as a Freshman, Mississippi as a Soph, and now Tennessee as a Junior. In the first two years he pitched in 39 games, 18 were starts, 112 innings pitched, striking out 153 and Walking only 41.
Cam Cantaloupes had four hits in three games over the weekend. Was it a tourney with Zona, Ok St and Clemson? I wonder if we’ll see more of that with the conference nightmare setups.
No spell check I just called him that, haha. It felt like it fit!
Seems mostly non conference mismatches this year, with one exception: Oregon St. Since they’re left out in the cold with the PAC12 falling apart, they scheduled a beastly non conference schedule: Virginia on Friday, Oklahoma Saturday, Auburn next week.
Liam Doyle is having a good start to the season, almost 2.5 k's per inning with less than 1 walk per 9 innings.
Interesting DFA by the Cubs after signing Turner - Alex Canario

Faith and begorrah!
Chase Shores looked good on Sunday, Bremner was pulled early, it was weather related, he was good over 3 innings.

It seems it's either tournament or gimme games, Lsu was playing Purdue (Fort Wayne) lol.
I'd like a few good round robin tournaments to open the year, much like basketball.
Conrad and Houston had good opening weekends for Wake.
Was Cantaloupes (3 doubles) a spell check? If not that's an awesome nickname.
It was the Shriners Showdown with Clemson, Oklahoma St, ...
