I think THE player to watch this post-season is quickly becoming Evan Carter. That guy is en fuego.

Now onto hoping for an upset in Houston!

I don't like the aggressiveness Smoltzy. O's should know better. They're down by one not tied.

Agreed, i dont think running there was necessarily the move

Hoping for a rally from the Os in the bottom of the 9th!

Off topic, can we trade Shelton to the Guardians?

We'll take cash considerations of......$25 should do it.

Don't follow O's closely, but Bradish gives up 5 hits in the 4th inning. I think they are one and out in postseason, just don't have the rotation to get thru Rangers lineup.

Rangers have the most blown saves in the mlb IIRC, even without Bautistia the Os should have an advantage in the pen and the rotations feel generally even to me with the Os being more healthy and the rangers having a little more upside

can say the same thing about the rangers pitching

neither has what pitching is needed to go far

Montgomery, Eovaldi, Heaney, Dunning with Scherzer getting close.

heaney and dunning stink

scherzer limping

montgomery a one year wonder

Mike Maddux has done wonders with the Rangers' pitching staff since he was hired. Montgomery is a one year wonder? He has a career 3.68 ERA and a career 3.75 FIP. Dunning's secondary pitches are all plus. His 4-seamer is subpar, but Maddux has found a way for him to work around that problem all year. The Rangers are legit, and Maddux knows pitching. If only Quinn Priester had a Mike Maddux... .

Heaney and Dunning have lower era than Keller. Stink, really?

you have a higher opinion of keller than i do

I have no idea why you think Keller is not a good pitcher. His sweeper is one of the best pitches in baseball. His curveball is actually good. He is in the top 20% of all major leaguers in spinrate on his 4-seam fastball. He was 8th in all of baseball in IP. He set a Pirates record for most Ks by a right-handed pitcher. I am really not sure what more you want from the guy. He is a star... period.

It's hard watching Gunnar Henderson and Rutschmans success. I'm not seeing our picks being in their same league. Which is why we need Skenes to be the pitcher we all expect.

Baltimore is rocking early, and i expect PNC will be double that in 2024

Alright fellas, on to the next round. My picks for the day are Baltimore, Houston, Philadelphia, and LA. So, if you are betting, I would definitely slam the opposites for all of those lol

Done lol. I do like Atlanta today just because of Strider. Other than that i like the three.

I was split on that one because philly feels like a team that has the perfect ingredients for october. I also didnt wanna go chalk in the NL and dont think the dbacks have any shot against LA with gallen or kelly going

That's fair. Philly looked good against Miami too.

The xDAWG in that lineup is very high. Plus wheeler and nola combo in the rotation. I dont know if i would put money against the braves, but this might be the best team to matchup against them in the NL imo

You called it lol
