The Baltimore Orioles return to the postseason was short-lived, as they were swept by the Texas Rangers on Tuesday.
Nathan Eovaldi pitched seven one hit innings, striking out seven batters in the process. In just three games, the Rangers’ offense scored 21 runs against the Orioles.
Backed by four home runs by the Astros’ offense, Houston took a 2-1 series lead against the Minnesota Twins. Cristian Javier pitched five, one-hit innings while striking out nine batters.
