Morning Rundown: Burrows toss five shutout innings, Pirates shutout again
Pirates lose second straight to Mariners
For the second straight game, the Pittsburgh Pirates were shut out by the Seattle Mariners, losing 2-0.
The offense managed just two hits, both by Spencer Horwitz, and both were singles. After shutting out the Cardinals in their previous series, the Pirates are one game away from suffering the same fate.
On the plus side, Mike Burrows pitched five shutout innings, striking out six, although he got a no-decision.
Also, a plus, the Pirates will have Paul Skenes on the mound for them on Sunday as they try to avoid the sweep. They will face George Kirby, who has struggled in eight games this season.
First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 pm ET.

Wyatt Sanford with a first pitch triple to lead off the game for the Marauders
Florentino with another home run. This one to dead center. Kinda look a tad wind aided. Will be interested on the EV on it.
