The biggest thing to come out of the game was that Dauri Moreta left the ninth inning with an apparent injury.

Derek Shelton said afterwards that it was his elbow as to why they pulled him from the game.
More news regarding the bullpen, as Shelton also mentioned that All-Star closer David Bednar is dealing with right lat tightness, and that he felt it during his throwing program.
The Pirates will play the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday at 1:05 pm ET. Luis Ortiz is scheduled to start with Paul Skenes expected to follow.
SKENES GOES VROOM VROOM
These Triolo comments have been hysterical…The dude is a good ball player but still has A TON to prove, particularly with the bat. Watch him swing, he epitomizes “punch and judy”, nothing but arms. Odd thing is, you typically offset the lack of power with high-contact, but he’s still striking out around 30% of the time with an above average swinging strike rate. Is he truly anomalous, this unicorn who defies data, or are we optimistically trying to spin a narrative here?
