I think he made both the Tigers and Dodgers mad last year by turning down his trade at the deadline. I believe he said he didn't want to go to the west coast. I wouldn't be surprised if he would choose the Pirates, assuming the Pirates pursued him. I am guessing it would take a 4th year though.
Interesting tidbit! Not surprised that skenes is on the mound, but still surprised brannigan didnt pursue a route as a closer, though I guess he could always use that as a backup plan
How tf is it a week into the offseason and no waiver claims from BC? It’s . . . unnatural.

Ben Cherrington once traded Andrew Miller to the Orioles in exchange for left handed starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriquez

Think he's got some family stuff going on and prioritized non big market and east coast, that's one thing we actually fit...
it would be a really big move that did not require trading any prospects
as a left handed starter, he would dominate in PNC
Might be the single most impactful offseason move that we have a realistic chance of making
Mackey tweeted that they gave Brannigan the option to be a 2-way player, but he decided to hit. Apparently gave Skenes the option too.
