Good send Rabelo. Even with no out.

And that's why it was correct. Would've been stranded otherwise!

Anyone want to guess where Nick Gonzales will bat in today's lineup? The stats say he has batted in the 4-6 slots in the order in 84% of his AB this year. It's where we can take full advantage of his HR power? Hard to make sense of it, but ask Derek - he'll tell you why!

I just noticed that this morning when I was checking something else. Kind of a very unique approach?

Is there any info on why Termarr was not in the lineup after his big day the day before? If it was health related then, ok, but otherwise why would they give the day off to their top position player prospect, esp. with the last game being today?

If I am not mistaken they sat him last week also after a decent game. I would think they are loaded with MI's and want to play them all. Regardless, he will be the 2B/SS at Altoona in 2025 - this is just a few games to get exposed to the speed of the game at AA.

Obviously, you can’t have Brenden Dixon, Kervin Pichardo and Mike Jarvis just sitting on the bench.

Don't want to bring everyone down, but it is possible that the Bucs are eliminated from playoff contention today. Wait til next year.

Kind of, but xwOBA only .324, roughly 50 points below Yorke.

But, at age 29?

The Indy team is now 4 games behind Columbus in the standings, and they have lost the season head-to-head, so actually need to make up 5 games before the season ends next week.

I would favor they send Peguero to the Pirates after today's game, with the Pirates sending Alika Williams back to AAA. Then figure out a way to get Suwinski and Yorke also with the Pirates - maybe somebody or somebodies need to hit the IL.

I miss the larger expanded rosters that used to be allowed in September. Reward the players by calling them up, reward the fans by letting them see some new faces that could be on the team next season instead of playing stiffs that hopefully will not be on the team next year.

The cheapskate White Sox' owner didn't like paying the major league salaries and was too chicken simply to order his GM not to call guys up, so as cover he insisted on a rule that nobody could.
