Would the Pirates lose something if they promoted Matt Gorski to the Pirates and put him in CF? 14 HR at AAA, 876 OPS at a time when we need somebody to step up in CF. Why not? To me, the field in Indy is Death Valley, and he has hit 8 of those 14 HR's at home. Would it be terrible if he actually came up and surprised everybody?
122 wRC+ since the beginning of May against a 20% K-rate.
League-average k-rate in high-A is currently 24%.
If strikeout rate is used a as proxy for contact as a tool, that's a 60 on the 20-80 scale.
He's undoubtedly a visually-divisive prospect but a 20-yo doing this in high-A looks a hell of a lot like a prototypical lead-off man, minus the stolen base threat.
Still remembering him in ST this year with 23 AB, 8 H, 1 double, 2 HR, 4 RBI, a slash of 348/400/652/1.052 OPS and then, thanks bud, here's your ticket back to Greensboro!
Also, it looks like Estuar Suero (hamate) is officially off the IL. He popped up in box scores a couple times, including once at SS, but those were MiLB.com errors.
If Suero has a successful post-Hamate similar to what Severino is posting this year leading the club in doubles, HR's, and RBI, the Pirates will be very happy

Somewhat surprised to see Termarr with this high of a wrc+. Kinda thought it would be below 100.
He seems to have started to figure things out of late. Let’s hope he finishes strong.

totally shoulda gave him the 2B job out of camp that's how spring training works
Pirates finally promoted Miguel Sosa to Bradenton. Also RHP Greiber Mendez.
When does Barco get promoted. A 23-year old highly regarded SEC Pitcher has no business staying in Greensboro.
I say #FreeBubba to Indy and # FreeBarco to Altoona.
I think more of a comfort thing being successful there coming out of TJ Rehab. Nobody is overlooking Mr. Barco.

MiLB making an error?? No. Never!
