We need a SS, 1st baseman, OF’er and a reliever or 2

I'd add a new owner, GM and manager.

How about a trade with Boston. Alot of young outfielders for a pitcher(s)

A good thought, but where would you put them? Right now we have Reynolds, Cruz, and Cook who are OF's, and don't forget Nick Yorke or Jack Suwinski. On the podcast I listened as the conversation was about Bryan Reynolds at 1B. Yes, he's lost a step or two in one of the most spacious LF in MLB. But, what qualifies him as a 1B? He's left handed? When, if ever, did Bryan Reynolds play 1B in 6 years of professional baseball? NEVER!

If they are moving Reynolds, it has to be to RF and DH, and probably twice as many games at DH than the 23 he had in 2024. Figure 40 Games at DH in 2025, and 60+ games in RF, and the remainder in LF, etc.

Slaps forehead! How will we ever fit in a legitimate improvement over Jack/Cook/Hank! Get ahold of yourself, sir. Running the same shit out there position player wise won’t improve the W/L record.

RF in PNC makes some sense because of the shorter throws due to the Clemente Wall, but on the road I'd worry he doesn't have the arm to stop runners from going 1st to 3rd. In the end, they should try to sign/trade for a quality 1B or RF and then put Reynolds in the other position.

Reynolds is in the 75th percentile for arm strength.

Interestingly, he was 36th percentile in '23, so maybe I was going by that impression more than what he did in '24. Also, his '24 value would be a lower percentile, about 50th, if comparing it to RFs only. Of course that is still acceptable.
