I guess Dodgers SP has been hammered by injuries. They're carrying only 3 SPs. If they get thru to WS which is no sure thing, maybe they should go with 14 pitchers, leave Kiermaier off. Not sure if allowed under current rules?
Several podcasts (The Athletic, Baseball Prospectus) pointed out that they’ve leaned really heavy into spin and velocity…which of course are more prone to get injured. Looks like they’re testing the limits of this theory.
So, Walker Buehler, who was terrible this year, throws 4 shutout innings, while Flaherty, who was excellent, gets bombed. Baseball is very unforgiving.
It’s funny. ESPN is trying to hype this as an amazing post season because of the star power, but every single game in the NLCS has been a blowout. Very boring for the average fan.
Termarr with a couple singles so far, one soft one hard hit. Bidios with a solid 1 and 2/3 innings, left with a runner on that he walked.
Clay Holmes struggles again. The bullpen implosions have been a theme of the playoffs.
Clase’s playoff ERA is now over 10. Unbelievable.

Marte with a big double.

Can basically throw logic out the window during the playoffs
Mets and Dodgers playing nothing but nail-biters.
