Great feel good story about the fan who caught the Thomas Grand Slam ball. He gave ball to another fan who is recovering from Leukaemia attending his first game since being diagnosed as cancer free.
Wouldn’t say I’m rooting for anyone in particular, but Emmanuel Clase walking out to ‘Wild Thing’ was pretty electric to see AND makes me almost want to see them win now
It’s a deserving final four—the top two seeds in the AL, the top seed in the NL, and the team with the best record since mid-June.
Also, the top three payrolls and one of the bottom three. That seems representative of baseball’s system—having a low payroll doesn’t prevent you from succeeding but your chances are much better if you’re willing/able to spend $200+MM.

Welp now hoping for a Mets - Cleveland World Series to rain on the MLB and Fox Network’s parade. They would be all crying if that were to happen.

The only downside for them is that it probably means he'd only pitch once in the ALCS unless it goes 7 (he could pitch a game 6 on 3-days rest).
