My rotation to start as of right now is 1. Keller 2. Perez 3. Ortiz 4. Gonzales 5. Priester in that pitching order to not have Gonzales and Perez go back to back. They then have German, Lauer, Jones, Skenes and Anderson in triple A as good depth. As well as I think Contreras or falter in the bullpen if needed. I like where they are at and really like the lineup.
The K vs. Soto was a thing of beauty, and in general he looked especially good against the Yankees' lefties. I think a key was the ~95 velo on the fastball which allowed his slider to be dominant.
Yep, even the 2 sliders that Torres hit were at the bottom of the zone, just to centered on the plate. The first 2 were on the outer third or off the plate. Torres is a good hitter and drove them, it happens.
Looking at topline statistics over 15 IPs or 30 ABs is meaningless. That is why almost no team makes lineup and roster decisions based upon spring training statistics. If anything is decided in spring training, it is based on scouting, coach assessments, and internal metrics not displayed in the top line.

Really hit his spots as well, except for the last 2 sliders to Torres. The first 2 sliders were very effective lol.
Command was always going to be the key for Priester. If that is coming around, he will contribute as a starter at the MLB level.
