I don't think Rosenthal said he's gonna split time at 1B. Think he alluded that he's AT LEAST gonna see some time over there. I fully expect him to,health willing, get 140 starts at 1B
Is there a site that offers fielding splits by ballpark? I'm wondering if that's something that would be used in determining Reynolds' position usage. I'm also assuming that there are other players (e.g. Endy if he makes the team, or Bart) that might see time @1b to keep their bat in lineup when Cutch is DHing.
Endy Rodriguez is a keeper. Before injuring his elbow during the Winter League in the DR in Nov 2023, Endy had some very good numbers at AAA 315 PA, 272 AB, 16 doubles/3 triples/6 HR, 36 BB/47 SO, Slash of .268/.356/.415/.771 OPS. Promoted to MLB, the pitchers caught up 204 PA, 186 AB, 7 doubles/2 triples/3 HR, 17 BB/49 SO, Slash of .220/.284/328/.612 OPS. All of that as a 23 year old, and his stats all the way up in previous years were excellent.
After sitting out on rehab for almost the whole 2024 season, he did get to play 10 games - 6 at AA and 4 at AAA. Having the whole offseason to work I am looking forward to him coming out strong in 2025. We need that bat in the lineup going forward and getting another switch hitter in the lineup is an automatic benefit.

would be nice to see Cutch give it a try as well so other can get some rest at dh once and a while
No idea. Teams surely have it. It’d be interesting to see.
