Spring Training Gameday 11: Jared Jones gets the start against the Blue Jays
Jones starts his first game of the Spring, will face the Toronto Blue Jays
The Pittsburgh Pirates will roll with prospect Jared Jones on the mound, starting against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Coming off a win against the Rays that saw them go yard three times, the Pirates will face an AL East team for the third straight game.
This will be the second time they’ve played the Blue Jays, losing 8-4 despite a pair of home runs by Termarr Johnson.
Take Spring Training statistics with a grain of salt, but the Pirates do currently lead all of baseball in home runs with 18, one more than the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Henry Davis is one of 11 players to have three home runs so far, along with names like Juan Soto, Wyatt Langford, and Colton Cowser.
First pitch is expected to be around 1:05 pm ET.

Falter looks bad. Below avg stuff and command. On a major league team he’s AAA depth.
Damn, if Cheng only had some power.
