Spring Training Gameday 12: Mitch Keller on the mound for the Pirates
Keller will make his third start of the Spring for the Pirates
The Pittsburgh Pirates look to build off their come-from-behind win on Tuesday with Mitch Keller on the mound against the Baltimore Orioles.
With three more home runs, the Pirates extend their league-leading market with Oneil Cruz, Liover Peguero, and Tsung-Che Cheng all going deep.
Quinn Priester, Bailey Falter, and Jared Jones pitched two innings each as the first two lobby for a spot in the Opening Day rotation. Not on the 40-man roster, Jones at least looks to continue pushing the issue. He threw three pitches that reached triple digits.
The Orioles will have Julio Teheran on the mound, looking to make the roster as an NRI.
First pitch is expected around 6:05 pm ET, currently with no scheduled TV broadcast.

Yesterday’s Feature
Now, a little more than a week into Spring Training games, I looked at the potential position players that could make the Opening Day roster. Not much has changed since the last edition, but a player was swapped out on the bench.
