Spring Training Gameday 18: Chase Anderson gets first start as Pirates face Braves
NRI Anderson gets first start of the spring.
After being shut out on the road against the Boston Red Sox, the Pittsburgh Pirates will return to Bradenton and face the Atlanta Braves.
NRI Chase Anderson will get his first start of the spring after coming into the game as a reliever previously.
In two games this spring, Anderson has pitched four innings of hitless and scoreless ball while walking two and striking out another two.
Reynaldo Lopez, who is being stretched out as a potential rotation candidate, will get the start for the Braves.
Game time is expected around 1:05 pm ET.
