Spring Training Gameday 25: Marco Gonzales makes start for Pirates against Yankees
Lefty Gonzales on the mound for the Pirates against the Yankees.
It’s the final stretch for the Pittsburgh Pirates this Spring Training, as Tuesday marked their last off day, and now wrap things up with six more games.
They kick off their final stretch of games with a night contest against the New York Yankees, with a start time of 6:35 pm ET.
Left-handed pitcher Marco Gonzales is the expected starter for the Pirates. Acquired in a trade with the Atlanta Braves this off-season, Gonzales has had a rough Spring.
The offense, on the other hand, has been amongst the best in baseball. They still lead all major league teams in home runs with 46.

Yesterday’s Feature
With one week left in the season, I made one final stab at filling out the Opening Day lineup/bench could look like for the Pirates.
Not playing people's scrubs any more . . . .
If we had a FO that gave a s***, there’s one rotation decision that’d be a slam dunk.
