Spring Training Gameday 9: Martin Perez makes Pirates debut against Orioles

Will face former top prospect Grayson Rodriguez.

After winning consecutive games for the first time this Spring, Martin Perez will take the mound for the first time in a Pirates uniform.

He will look to regain his form from 2022 when he posted a 2.89 ERA with 12 wins across 196.1 innings pitched.

For the Baltimore Orioles, they will have Grayson Rodriguez on the mound. He’s looking to build upon a rookie year that saw him win seven games across 23 starts.

Henry Davis hit his second home run of the Spring, a solo shot. The bat has looked like it’s ready for the regular season already.

The Pirates have scored 27 runs in their last three games, going 2-1.
