Spring training Gameday: Jared Jones on the mound as the Pirates face the Phillies
Jared Jones vs Cristopher Sanchez
Paul Skenes pitched into the fourth inning for the first time this spring, Endy Rodriguez went 3-3 with a run scored and RBI, and Liover Peguero hit a go-ahead home run in the eighth inning as the Pirates defeated the Baltimore Orioles 9-5.
Jason Delay also hit a bases-clearing single in the ninth to further pad the lead. That’s two wins in a row for the Pirates, who are now 8-5 in Grapefruit League play.
The Pirates will now return to LECOM to face the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET.

Saw some BP at Pirate City this morning. The guy who stood out was a tall, lean left-handed hitter who barreled the ball almost every time, with a smooth, easy swing. They're not wearing numbered jerseys yet, but I'm pretty sure that was Edward Florentino.
Moar Goarski.
Less Palacios.
