The Marauders can be a trying team to watch as their pitching staff is uneven. They have 4 pitchers who average 9 or more walks per 9 innings, Furtado, Hernandez, Jimenez , and Tyler Kennedy (whose numbers almost defy belief). These guys pitch regularly, so you are going to see at least one of them most of the time. I know that none of the organizations at this level are worried about winning games, but it is a little disheartening to see one of them warming up.
Great question, Mike Burrows. Easy grade better on the fastball and curveball and the changeup gains pre-TJS might've pulled his offspeed even with Kingham.
Kingham peaked in an era where we were far less critical of pitching prospects.
Fleming tonight.
Not enthused.
I wonder who else was on the PTBNL list. Certainly seems like we should have picked someone else......
BIG zander meuth guy.
Zander > solo ???
Their motions are remarkably similar, but Mueth throws 3-4 mph harder.
easily
Same. Fastball has so much movement on it. Impossible for hitters to square up on, especially in the lower levels

Man, I hope Burrows is not the next Kingham.
Who was the better prospect pre TJS?
I probably got spoiled a bit seeing Barco’s first few games back. His command was pretty good right away. That’s not normal.
Only a few appearances back but would much rather he hit the ground running. Hope we are just shaking off some rust

I liked Kingham more.
