Bucs on Deck is dedicated to covering the Pittsburgh Pirates organization as whole on a daily basis.

I originally started writing about baseball back in 2011 to follow along with upcoming MLB Draft, in which the Pirates had the first overall pick. After a few years, I went on to write about hockey, with stops at sites like The Farm Club, The Hockey Writers, Fansided, and Last Word on Sports.

In 2021 I decided to get back into baseball, covering the Pirates system on my own site, ‘Murphy Sports Blog’, which eventually led me to Pirates Prospects.

Now I am starting Bucs on Deck to continue my coverage on the Pirates, and the system.

Free subscribers get access to our Morning Rundown, which is basically a recap of the day prior in the Pirates system. Also, we have a Gameday thread to go and talk with other subscribers (and the writers) about the game as it is happening.

It also allows access to the the other writers’ (WTM and NolaJeffy) feature articles, as well as some of my updates.
