Good luck - I looked up the formula for wRC+ and I'll be satisfied with OPS, EBH, and BB/K Rate. If a prospect has good numbers in those three categories, I'll be happy with that much.
He has stubbed his toes with two teams who thought they had an excellent prospect. He'd be good defensively, but this team needs a dependable hitter for the #2 thru #6 slots. Reynolds and Cruz will take 2 of those slots. No confidence in IKF or BDLC and hope we cut our losses with both. Yorke and Cook could be 2 others and I'd like to see Peguero get another shot.
He has been a good, but flawed player. And you’re just plain wrong, if you’re saying he’s “stubbed his toe” with other teams. Varsho has been a productive player, even if it’s defense heavy. The Pirates aren’t exactly lighting the world on fire in that category either.
Hard to say, cause he's controlled with two more arb years, and is heavily defensively dependent. Which, just a quick glance, he's a lot more similar to MAT than I expected, just obviously with better results cause he whiffs less and makes more contact. I think he'd probably take a higher end pitching prospect, but we're not talking a Bubba or Jared, and even the next tier would probably be dependent on quantity.
So probably Harrington and another piece. I still might do that. His xwOBA is pretty scary and not just in 2024. I wonder if he keeps his head above water because he pulls enough balls over the fence.
Sooooooo, is it officially the off-season yet????
With offense so high in this league would like to see a wrc+ for the hitters
I was trying to look around for some sort of wRC+ or OPS+, and can't find anything lol

Trade target: Daulton Varsho.
I’m bored and looking at outfield targets.
He's got two full years left, so 1.5 years of usefulness barring an extension of some sort. I'd be game!
What’s a guy like that cost? Varsho is a productive player but an odd one. Also some of his numbers seem to be a bit…alarming.

Maybe they should go after Everson Pereira!

I would have to imagine the jays will be open for business this offseason
