Overview
Brioso has the arm and athleticism, as well as potentially plus speed, to stick at shortstop, although he’s divided his time evenly amongst second, third and short so far. It’s unclear which side of the plate he hits from. MiLB.com shows him as a right-handed hitter, but information when he signed indicated that he originally was a switch hitter, started hitting left-handed, and may go back to switch hitting.
