Overview
Drafted as a fifth-year senior, Lege played for two seasons at Delgado Community College, then two at Ole Miss. He had a rough junior season, hitting just 243/332/359, but hit 323/424/645 with 13 home runs as a senior. He drew 22 walks while striking out only 16 times. Lege played third as a junior and left as a senior; the Pirates announced him as a third baseman. His senior season ended in late May due to a fractured thumb, so he may not be able to play for a bit.
2024
Lege got into 15 games with Bradenton before the Marauders’ season ended. He batted .204 with no extra base hits and poor plate discipline. Lege split his time evenly between the infielder corners.
