Gameday 113: Pirates Looking To Build Off Big Win Versus Braves
After chasing Spencer Strider out the game early, the Pirates look to build off that win with Mitch Keller on the mound.
The Pittsburgh Pirates jumped out and all over Spencer Strider, tagging him with six true over 2.2 innings pitched.
Endy Rodriguez, Liover Peguero, and Andrew McCutchen doubled, and Connor Joe hit his ninth home run. The bullpen shut the door for the final five innings with six total relievers getting into action.
On the mound today will be Mitch Keller, who is looking to right the ship while going through a very rough stretch. Over his last six starts the All-Star has a 7.49 ERA.
There seems like there is a potential for some roster moves today, as it looked like Osvaldo Bido and Yerry De Los Santos were getting potential ‘good-bye’ hugs, so we will monitor that throughout the day.

What is the obsession with Palacios? He’s had some nice moments, but he’s really not very good and he sure as hell isn’t a leadoff hitter.
