After getting a four-game split against the Atlanta Braves, the Pirates wrap up their current home stand with a weekend set against divisional rival Cincinnati Reds.
I'd rather get him as many ABs as you can over the final 46 games. He can be after Rodriguez, as long as Rodriguez moves up. I'm not big on winning meaningless games if it means sacrificing development
Did anybody else catch that comment Greg Amsinger just made on MLB TV? He said Johan Oviedo will be top 3 in the NL Cy Young voting next year. "He's that good," Amsinger said. Talk about your bold predictions.
much more interesting than the usual randos they sign. former 2nd rounder of the astros. just last year he was a top ten prospect for them. might as well see if you can get something out of him
Perez is kind of an interesting guy. He was mostly a pitcher in high school, but blew up his elbow, so Houston drafted him as a thirdbaseman. He was good enough that Houston had to roster him for fear he would be taken in the rule 5 at the end of the 2021 season, so he is not a longshot talent. He lit up the minors in A ball but really petered out in AA and AAA since the beginning of last year. He has had several other injury problems, and he is only 23. This is a guy to keep an eye on.

Some high velocity arms
Some very selective hitters
Jase Bowen becomes a 20-20 man at Greensboro
Is he the only one in the system?
Jack Brannigan might get there with a few more HRs
shortridge spun an absolute gem in toona today
Brannigan with another homerun tonight. Kyle Nicolas needs to stay in the pen, he has late inning stuff, cranking 99 repeatedly.
Subscribe! Could be like mlod and transition in indy so he actually learns it ahead of time
Ok, is time to consider moving Davis down the order, at least after Rodriguez.
Notice how our 1/1 pick has become our 2023 Kevin Newman. Love those grounders to SS.
Slugging at .360, maybe I’m wrong by expecting more.

I bet is fun to spend money and time to go watch this team lose, I get what you are saying, but there’s value in trying to win.
Please let this be Hayes from now on!
Well shit
Look at brey with the little smile after the catch! Hes having fun again!
Nick Senzel migth be a good get from Cincy. He smashes LHP and has fake it in CF.
they´re going to have the get the cleanup crew in the booth to clean up that stench
It’s the Jordy Mercer Show with rink and dink as co hosts. Funny thing is I tuned in to watch a baseball game. What was I thinking?
there is a button to overlay the radio broadcast with the A team
off to a roaring start tonight, i see
these uniforms look like a steve harvey suit
should at least included th hot stove shape of the yellow hat
Did you noticed that your boy Jordy threw the first pitch?
yeah he messed up the mound and we ended up with three runs moments after he trashed it
he´s in the booth now rabling gunk with block - - dynamic duo...

Reminds me of Billy Ripken on MLB Channel picking Trevor Williams to win 2019 CY. I think Amsinger's pick is more credible.
Thats a wildly hot take lol
I agree
he just has to figure out the fist inning and that era will shine
No idea who Joe Perez is, but he’s now with the Curve.
Still fairly young.

I dunno. Are you ready to take playing time away from Claudio Finol?
They might want to try him as a pitcher lol
boy idk. gonna be tough, but i think i could handle it
had to do a double take when looking at the altoona pitching matchup. apparently erie also has a big lefty named wolf
Wolf vs wolf!
Los Lobos?
Dos Lobos
Vulfpeck
yinz think this is the offseason when we bring in a bunch of ringers?
Trade for alonso and either skubal or cease
I´d spill all the prospects except for about four or five guys (Skenes, Termarr, Bubba, Jones, Solo)
I want Vlad Guerrero, Cantina, Manoah, Kopech, and Luis Robert Jr.
I think the problem is that a few of those guys you wont get without at least one if not two of those guys lol
these are dudes that we need to cash in for 2024 contributors:
Nick, Harrington, Massey, Lonnie, Yordany, Blanco, Priester, Kennedy, Shim, Cheng, Brannigan, Polanco, Chen
each of those fellas would be top five in (m)any other organization(s) ?
