All things considered, by actual time, this game has gone fairly quickly. May not have felt that way but we just passed the two hour mark and we are in the eighth.
I'm not 100% sure that the Pirates actually said he WASN'T going to catch this year, but it would be such a Pirates thing to say that, only to have him catch and then he reinjures himself
I consider it disrespecting the game, especially in September when they're able to carry a couple of extra relievers. But Shelton seems to think it's cute, as did Maddon who Shelton cites as his role model (I think Shelton is less arrogant and much nicer than Maddon, though).
There was some BP video of him floating around when he was with the team about a month ago. He was noticeably thicker, just a guesstimate but probably at least 15 lbs of muscle.
According to Alex Stumpf on Twitter, it's being called 'general right forearm fatigue' for Endy
that is a problem with swinging the bat or a problem with throwing the ball?
I'm generally fatigued from the Pirates this time of year too
#Facts lol
Oh no.

Endy Rodriguez was just pulled after a trainer came to check on him. Tried to throw a runner out a pitch or two before that.
That's not good.
It's more risk with catcher coming back from TJ. Should not return to catcher, but here we are.

Two throwing errors on steals, yeah not a good sign. 127' max effort throws.
not overly sure what the plus side of two weeks of throwing was supposed to do. Kinda feel like there was nothing to gain from this
Yep, DHng would have been enough.
Just removed Endy from the game
For a team not that far away from .500 we have had a boatload of embarrassing and humiliating performances. Add this one to the list.
This team quit seven weeks ago. Obviously Shelton is the perfect manager to lead them forward.
Yeah Ben couldn't have gotten a better man to run this team into the ground. Great job!
Yes, the “we play hard no matter what.” narrative has been a bit of a stretch.
Nice crowd at GAB, happy night for fireworks or Nelly concert.
It's after games like this that tomorrow's press release is "Keller goes on the IL". He's just not right.
91.7 4 seam fastball?
If Shelton throws Tellez tonight, I will..........scream.

Mitch Keller has not been very good for about 6 weeks now.
He’s been a bit rough this second half, yep.
Sure looks like it'll take more than this head-to-head series to get our guys out of the cellar. Damn.
Got 'em right where we want 'em!
Nice to have a catcher hit 19 dingers. Bart could do it in '25, that's what we need from that position.
He has been slipping since he came off the dl
Martinez has a helluva change up. Five K's first time thru the Pirate order.
Career k/9 6.44
He looks like Devin Williams tonite.
Somebody recently said Endy has put on a lot of weight?
There was some BP video of him floating around when he was with the team about a month ago. He was noticeably thicker, just a guesstimate but probably at least 15 lbs of muscle.
Man strength.
Trying to turn himself into Elias Diaz? If so, he'll be non-tendered in a few years.
And then catch on in Colorado
It looks like good weight.
As opposed to dead weight, which most of us suffer from!
Yep Endy's added weight is in his arms, upper body and legs instead of the mid section like my added weight.
Think Alex Stumpf mentioned it when he saw him taking batting practice in Pittsburgh before heading on his rehab assignment.
More emphasis on hitting home runs and less emphasis on playing catcher sounds good to me
He’s a better option at first base than moving Reynolds there
I think top 3 SP is are Skenes, Ortiz and Keller....
That didn't age well.
I'd suggest Skenes, Jones, Chandler going forward.
Gameday lineup has Cook batting ninth and no Yorke. I really dislike the one they call Shelton
We can all take note of this slight at Cook’s HOF induction in 2049.
This is how I find out he's getting traded this off-season?
