That Suwinski at bat right there in the 8th inning is my major problem with him. Game on the line, and he looked clueless at the plate. The first pitch was a center cut 93mph fastball, and he just stood there with absolutely no intention of swinging. The only hittable pitch he got in that AB, and he watched it go by then struck out on a high fastball. That is not a mark of a good hitter regardless of what analytics say.

Did you miss the part where he hit a HR earlier in the game?
Slugging % and OB% are not analytics. It's objective evidence of how good he is as a hitter.
