You have to give Keller some credit, he'll be 28 next season and he shows up every 5th day and yeah he can go from brilliant to volatile inning to inning or start to start but many pitchers with his stuff and experience start to really figure it out at his age. Admittedly I'm a dreamer but I see Mitch having his best seasons when the team finally becomes competitive.
Although Shelton & crew certainly have their warts someone got the boys ready. This is 3 consecutive series vs teams fighting to get into October (Phillies the slight exception) and the young Bucs aren’t blinking. This is their postseason…then again it’s September baseball
Bae is no better than an adequate second baseman. That Schwarber ground ball should have been a double play. He was too slow getting it to the SS and it cost Keller a run. A backhanded soft toss just won’t do it. Either Gonzales or Perguero has to be the guy at second once Cruz returns.
1. Bae isn’t the right answer at any position. Hope he’s dealt away this winter.
2. Triolo should be everyday 2B next season.
3. Pirates should sign Bellinger to solve 1B and help bridge the 124 run differential between Pirates and Cubs. Not to mention the 242 run difference between Pirates and Braves.
Totally agree in regards to Bae. He needs to pivot, with his right foot in the dirt pointing towards the bag making a strong accurate throw to Peggy. The little backhanded flip doesn’t work unless it’s a force out.

Could have clinched 4th place tonight...sigh
If the entire dugout isn’t pissed, it’s a problem. Front office included. Remember watching a team clinch on your watch.
I know guys like hank will be reliving this night after night
Welp
Welp, Joe certainly doesn't have the clutch gene.
15-101 with RISP. I love Rock doing the color.
I wonder how many of those ABs were against RHPs…
Cmon hank

Agreed, i dont know who is making these guys fight so hard the last few weeks, but whoever it is should sure as hell be around next year
Double steal on second pitch, don’t bunt!
Off to extras!
The NL world series team will again come from the East. Hard to bet against the Phillies. Hard to bet against the Braves.
ROY
That's an E-3
Hope Priester is studying Nola. A great curve ball can keep Priester in the show A lot of years.

That backhanded flip is cringeworthy, and he does it way too often.
Lets keep that Brey OPS over .800! BOOM!
Keller's 4seamer is 90-92 this inning, clearly hes cooked so he should have been out asap
