Mitch Keller's trade value is very high

But do you trust BC to get fair value for him?

I would prefer only players on expiring deals be traded this summer. And then this winter, after a new GM is hired, trades of players with years of control can be considered.

Keller is worth about the same as Oneil Cruz. Neither of them are straight up worth a Max Clark (42.8 to their 32-33 surplus value) but either of them could snag both a Bryce Rainer and a Josue Briceno. To put it in terms of our prospects they each have about even value to Konnor Griffin but I think BTV is a little low on him given his A+ performance. For a Cubs ML ready comparison, either could be even value for a Matt Shaw sort.

I agree. Not sure why some on here think he and Bednar together are worth one top 5 prospect. Keller alone should be worth a young major league hitter AND a top 5 prospect.

me too / and all teams are in play because Keller is locked up for a while / / not just the teams that are contending this year

one of Dylan Crews, Jordan Lawler, Sam Basallo, Max Clark is on our way

Crews is about 10+ to surplus value of Keller so maybe but why would the Nats trade him right now? Keller is worth a lot more than Lawler right now. Basallo and Clark are worth more.

BOOYAH!!!! Nice to see the offense to come alive against the team with the 5th best record in baseball and finally get Mitchie TheKid a win. Raise it!!!!!

They owe Mitch a few more nights like this. So glad that losing streak ended. Such a good teammate.

This is a bad team, no doubt, but still have been surprised there haven’t been 3 or 4 games like this to go our way.

Looking good for Keller to get win number 2.

June version of BRey finally arrived.

BRey has long been a slow starter. Not certain I needed him to wait until nearly July, but a win's a win.

Reminds me of Adam LaRoche. At least this year.

What does Tommy Pham do? HE GETS ON BASE. (Won't say that very often so I gotta take the chance while I have it.)

HE GETS ON BASE once a week. Fixed it for you.

[Biggest if in the world] If the Pirates bullpen can strand these inherited runners, Keller lowered his ERA to 3.90. Baseball is a game of narratives. There's only 32 other guys with 90+ IP with that ERA or lower. Contenders getting a #2 or #3 for their playoff rotation.

It’s weird-he’s got somewhat similar results this season, but he’s been more steady than streaky this season (not as many gems or stinkers).

Some surprising sources of offense tonight. Wasn’t expecting 5 in 5 innings when I saw the lineup.

Or 8 in 6. Baseball.

Is it sad that I ignored the Pirates game initial because I saw a 4-0 score on Gameday and said, "welp, guess they're losing again." Only later did I check in and see it was four runs for the Pirates.

What’s really sad is that we all could’ve done exactly the same thing.

Interesting AB for Rivas. With second and third, he swung through a couple high FBs. On 0-2, he got a third one and hit it out.

So he set him up like Manny Ramirez used to

One of the least desirable jobs has to be umpire in the DSL. One of the Bucs games today featured 27 walks, a HBP and 13 wild pitches. It also went an extra inning.

Keller has to be on the verge of fainting. Of course, they still owe him another 283 runs.
