The Pittsburgh Pirates head to Minnesota for one last series before the All-Star break, facing the Twins for three games this weekend.
They look to head into the break by salvaging a disastrous road trip to date. They’ve gone 0-6 so far and were shut out in the first three games against the Seattle Mariners.
Things were a little more competitive for the final two games against the Kansas City Royals, but the results were the same.
It will be a battle of the All-Stars, as Paul Skenes will take on Joe Ryan in the first of three Friday, with a scheduled start time of 8:10 pm ET.

Oviedo pitching for Bradenton today.
Griffin and Valdez both off to futures game.
And another runner left ISP. It’s a travesty for Skenes to be stuck in this clown show. It’s like displaying a Rembrandt in a Burger King.
