The younger brother of Pirates’ prospect Yordany De Los Santos, Johan got the team’s top bonus in the 2025 international signing class. He doesn’t have his older brother’s power potential, but he has good contact ability and could develop moderate power. He has well above average speed and very good athleticism, so he could stay at short, but scouts think he’ll need to improve his actions in the field to do so.
