Overview
Herrera was one of the Pirates’ more significant signings in the 2023-24 signing period. He has good agility and hands, and a line-drive approach at the plate.
2024
Herrera’s DSL debut went well, as he hit 259/390/360, and walked more than he struck out (29 to 25). He played second, third and short, spending about half his time at short. He had only two errors in 20 games there.
