I'm a big fan of the 'lean into what you're doing well' idea. Pitching will always be valuable. Even more so if you have a reputation of developing them well.
I feel like if he wasn't drafted, he wasn't going to sign. If I remember correctly, he's a hometown kid for Florida State, may have wanted to go to school anyways.

Yeah, he's from Tallahassee, it would have probably taken $1.5 or more to sign him. He'll be draft eligible in '26 so I can hope on that lol.
He's definitely trending towards being high on my draft board next year
