Bednar back. Probably Nicolas headed out.

An awful lot depends on Shelton staying out of bot mode. It’s like giving an AK-47 to a 3-yr-old.

That's very unfair to bots. I can program a bot to manage a bullpen better than Russell.

If Rivas figures it out it would be an amazing win for the organization, it’s a SSS and it’s A+ in a sand box, so odds are against, but 🤞.

Which one are you paying the most attention to? I’m guessing BC.

Is there any way to find out what is wrong with Solometo? Or do we have to wait for the Wednesday injury briefing where presumably this will come up?

Looking like Suwinski may need to go to AAA. Solak is hitting the best but would require a 40-man move. Cook and Yorke are hitting a little better after slow starts. Gorski could play OF and be an option at 1B but woulf also require a 40-man move. Horwitz could go to 60-day DL.

SS Shawn Ross? Is that for real or a typo? I could have sworn he was primarily a C last year.

He was a SS in indy ball when they signed him. Started off as a UT IF but switched to C. Still plays IF a little, including once at SS this year.

MiLB.com seems to pick up whatever position a guy plays in his first game and stick with that forever. So all the official stuff says SS Shawn Ross.

He’s still listed as a shortstop. Has played some infield this year too

I guess depending where you look is how he’s listed. Think on the team site he’s a catcher but player page still SS

Do we have any theories on why the Greensboro bats are so hot while the rest of the organization is in a deep freeze? I know, super small sample size but … The whole lineup is scalding the ball.

Weird, huh? The SAL IS a hitters league, unlike the leagues the other affiliates are in, and the GBO park inflates HRs, although not other stats. Doesn’t really explain all these guys hitting .340 or Rivas at .400. I’m inclined toward coincidence for now.

Victor Cabreja?? Soft tossing LHP having success below AA or is there more here?

I’ve seen him looking very good at times, also not good at times. If the Pirates move him to starting, where Bradenton is surviving on rehab assignments, I’ll get really curious.
