Definitely not the most, uh, talented group of prospects to go to the AFL from the burgh

Bowen's .866 OPS puts him 24th in the AFL (Peoria has 6 players in the Top 25). On defense he is looking like another "tool shed" - in the 6 games so far he has played RF, 1B, DH, RF, CF, and 1B. Fielded 2 or 3 GB's to first, a popup, and he and SS Jack Brannigan teamed up on about three 6-3 putouts.

Peoria's team is STACKED. I wasn't really paying attention until Bowen/Brannigan came to the plate, but they kept hitting and hitting, pulled up the box score and my jaw dropped at who they had. Was good to see for as good as Peoria is, Jase stuck his nose in there and put up that kind of performance. I'm sure a lot of the national outlets were there to watch Peoria, and Jase had himself quite the game.

On another note, Clayton Kershaw adds another chapter to his rather dubious playoff resume last night. .1 IP and 6 ER allowed!

Regular season record:

210-92 with a 2.48 ERA

Post-season record:

13-13 with a 4.49 ERA.

Not hard to see why Dodgers have won so many division titles and only one WS title during his tenure.

Such a bummer imo, i hate that his reputation will be tainted with his lack of postseason success

This isn’t the NBA. Baseball fans understand the postseason is a blip compared to a career. Right? Don’t we?

I think HOF voters agree with you, but fans view it differently.

To some degree. He’ll still get in the Hall of Fame though.
