Uh oh? Another Felipe?

The Tampa Bay Rays acknowledged in a statement to multiple outlets Sunday night that Major League Baseball is looking into social media posts regarding shortstop Wander Franco, saying that the team is in “close contact” with the league as it conducts its “due diligence.”

The Rays did not specify the nature of the social media content in their statement. However, on Sunday, online posts went viral that alleged Franco, 22, engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a minor.

Gimme a chance! I swear I wont commit any crimes or mess it up! Though the significantly less talent might be somewhat problematic

As you may or may not know, I am NOT a fan of ‘language’ in articles or comments. You can write what you wish, but I will have to start ignoring your comments. If that is okay with you, so be it. But, I will miss them.

Btw, I agree with your sentiments. Stupid to screw up a dream come true.

There is a few acceptable circumstances pirates related, here's one good and one bad.

In fairness to Pedro, he was easily our best player in the 2013 NLDS against the Cards.

McAdoo

Who needs Dylan Crews when you got McAdoo? 😁

Uh, the Pirates. Crews would be a major upgrade in the Pirate’s outfield right now. I know you were joking or at least I assume you were, but don’t look too hard that might just be a pie up there in the sky that you’re seeing. McAdoo looks the part in his short stint in Bradenton but 26 at bats in low A ball for a college player doesn’t really say much of anything. It’s a step down from the college level and wasn’t he an infielder at San Jose State?

I’d like little better than to forget who Dylan Crews and Wyatt Langford are, but I’m afraid that won’t be easy. BTW, I have a graduate degree from SJSU and the Spartans are my second favorite college sports team, but until McAdoo’s doing this in Altoona I think I’d pump the brakes a bit.
