Overview
After Irwin Ramirez, Navarro was probably the top pitcher in the Pirates’ 2024 international signing class. When he signed, his fastball had gotten as high as 95 mph. He also threw a slider, with a change that was a work in progress.

Ramirez showed his stuff in his DSL debut, posting a 3.38 ERA while allowing just 13 hits and fanning 37 in 24 innings. Control was a problem, as he walked 21.
